CONCLUSION

1. Approx. earnings to a similar steel plant with the use of calorised pipes will be     approx. Rs. 70 lakhs per annum.
2. Operational Advantages:

(A) Fewer changing of lancing pipes during oxygen blowing, Frequency of pipe
     changing will be decreased by 6 times of present frequency.
(B) Lesser no. of pipes to be carried every day from the stock yard to the furnace      level, No of pipes to be handled reduced to 1/6th of present levels

Above will result in better manpower utilization and smoother operation & higher profitability
